Sales Account Manager - Arizona and Utah

Function:

ENGEL, a reliable plastics injection molding machine manufacturer is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join their team based in the U.S. This position is based in Arizona and Utah & it will be a remote role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers to generate quotes, revise orders, and close deals for machines and robots.
  • Maintain ongoing customer relationships through continuous follow-up and engagement.
  • Generate requests for quotes and manage order processing.
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure quotes meet customer specifications and generate revisions as needed.
  • Oversee the order administration process from entry through delivery and start-up.
  • Address customer complaints, delays, and other issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with various departments and international teams to ensure timely solutions.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Education:
    • High school diploma with relevant work experience required.
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the plastic, rubber, or silicone injection molding industry (maintenance, processing, engineering, etc.).
    • At least 3 years of sales experience in a technical/machinery/capital equipment environment.
    • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and manage both new and existing accounts.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Plastics processing training is preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Other Requirements:

  • Travel:
    • Must be able to travel as needed within the assigned region and to attend sales meetings and trade shows.
    • Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally on occasion
